Back Online!

We're back online - At Last!

Well  Folks, we're back online - again! It's been a difficult time, no thanks to our previous site 'manager' doing a vanishing act, whilst forgetting to renew our domain name. This meant we went offline.

To add insult to injury, our 'hosting' provider refused to let us access our own site, refused to renew the name, and - grudgingly - let us change to a hosting company. Only took 3 months of stress, lost e-mails and - or so we thought -all of the content. Fortunately, we managed to retrieve some of it from elsewhere..

So! We're back up and running. If you didn't get a response from us if you e-mailed us, please accept our apologies - we value our clients, old and new, highly, and we hate to let anyone down.

Meanwhile, we're back online for Spring, ready to welcome friends old and new to Blinkbonnie Guest House - your home away from home! Last note: This blog feature is where we will be promoting any late deals, special offers or details of local events worth catching. Check back soon! Regards ~ Lesley & Robert.

Looks like the weather is finally improving. The views over the Irish Sea been have good this week too. The 'Port is fairly quiet, but that's normal for early March. Still, there's plenty of wildlife moving around the woods locally, fair number of Roe deer about. Night sky - when visible - has been very good, with a lot of stars out - Orion is looking good especially on a colder night. It will soon be the Easter holidays, so we look forward to welcoming some of you for the first time, and to catch up with our old friends too. Worth noting, if you looking for a quiet weekend, or mid week break, is that traffic is light at the moment, restaurants not overly full - as it high season - and still a lot to see and do! (Or maybe just relax....) See you soon, stay well!
